Found in Jan 2001, Taiwan International Medical
Alliance (TIMA) is dedicated to extend the care of
the medical profession in hospitals to society by
combining technical assistance and humanitarian
concerns. Domestically, TIMA strives to raise the
standards of medical service and reconstruct the
ethics of the medical field. Internationally, TIMA
hopes to enhance the international understanding of
Taiwanˇ¦s development in public health and democratic
institution through strengthening the interaction
and networking between different societies and civil
organizations. Ultimately, TIMA wishes to form
global friendship and earn international respect for
Taiwan. TIMA sincerely welcomes you to join us.
Goals

To combine government and civil resources,
promote medical and health standard, and to make a
commitment to the development of international
health and peace.

through the participation in international
activities, to normalize the status of Taiwan in the
