Objective:
This 4-day programme is designed for
professionals and governmental officers who
interested in international health issues and
cooperation development as important to
upgrading their knowledge and skills for
management and planning responsibilities. The
organization of training courses includes
lecture, group discussion, case study and
roundtable dialogue with an aim to create an
active and dynamic atmosphere for learning. With
guidance both from international and national
experts and practitioners, students can
strengthen their ability and capacity required
in developing international cooperation
programmes. In the future, the organizer will
build an alumni network and continue to design
various training courses to fulfill specific
requirements of skills and leadership in the
field of international health.
Method:
Presentation, group discussion, case study,
role-play and subject-oriented workshop will be
used interchangeably to steer communication
ability and creative thinking. Lecturers are
encouraged to use case analysis, field story and
organized discussion to enhance two-way
learning.
Paper
and Teaching Stull:
Each lecturer is requested to prepare a paper of
3,500 words and e-mail to the Secretariat before
20 November 2001. We would appreciate if
lecturer can add suggestion readings or
references as well.
